Materials:

Base & Top Polish
Background Color Polish

A Cake-y shade Polish
Any Frosting colors you chose!
Black polish for eyes and mouth

How- To:

*Always start by painting your nails with the base polish. This keeps nails healthy and strong, and also allows paint to be removed  off cleanly and completely.

=Paint all your nails that base color. Simple enough. ^_^

=Next, chose the cake-y color and towards the bottom of your nail (that is, the end you would use for a french tip) begin forming the bottom of the cupcake. Use a toothpick to shape a square that takes up less than half the nail. If desired, use a darker shade to create stripes for the wrapping of the cupcake.

=Using your icing colors, form little icing shapes on top and above the cake. These can be however big you chose and whatever shape you want, but if you are going to put faces on them, be sure to leave enough room. Again, I would use a toothpick for this.

=Use a toothpick and black paint to slowly and carefully add eyes and a tiny smile to your cupcake. The slower you go, the more control you will have!

=Let dry completely (longer than usual, there is a lot of paint on your nails now!) before you cover with a top polish. This allows it to stay on longer without chipping and makes it super shiny!
